Hi, my name is Jared Comiskey, and I’m excited to offer tutoring services in 2026! I am a 2024 graduate with 1 year of tutoring experience. I achieved an unadjusted ATAR of 98.10 and am in my second year at UQ in the Bachelor and Masters of Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering program with a GPA of 6.63/7. I also received a QCAA Academic Commendation for achieving an A in all subjects (see marks breakdown below). My approach to teaching is ensuring that students have a solid foundation of the concept by explaining topics in a simple and clear way before exploring more advanced problems and tailoring the teaching methods to each student. I can also help with worksheets, practice exams, homework alongside proofreading assignments. My services include private tutoring and assignment proofreading/editing. I am based in Holland Park and will primarily be tutoring online ($35/hr) but have some availability for in person at libraries or at the students’ own home with rates varying for distance (enquire for details).
