I am currently in my second year studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies / Doctor of Medicine at UNSW. I offer in-person and online private and small-group tutoring for Preliminary and HSC Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as a 4-week UCAT preparation course and medical interview coaching for UNSW and WSU. Throughout 2025, I have worked with multiple students privately, and hundreds more through tutoring centres, with outcomes including state-ranking-equivalent results, multiple Band 6s, and significant mark improvements for students who initially struggled, helping them gain entry into their dream university degrees. Among my UCAT and interview students, over 80% received offers to medical school. I have taught students from selective, private, and comprehensive public schools, which has given me insight into differing curricula, teaching styles, and expectations. All resources are custom-made according to each student’s level of understanding and their school's teaching order. This includes content booklets for first exposure, as well as extensive past-paper question banks organised by syllabus dot points for exam revision. Sample materials are available upon request. Lessons are flexible and can be run as ongoing weekly sessions or as one-off revision or pre-exam lessons, depending on the student’s needs. More details on interview coaching (ignore if looking for HSC coaching): Upon graduating high school, I received interview offers from every medical and dental school I applied for (SATAC & UAC), including UNSW, USyd, WSU, JMP, UAdel & Flinders. I was successful in securing my top preference in each state (UAdel Med, USyd Dent & UNSW Med) and ended up completing over 10 medical and dental school interviews. Interview coaching sessions will run for approximately 1.5 hours and either involve: 🔹 Guidance in writing personal responses to an extensive & relevant bank of past interview questions, refining and personalising answers using model responses (recommended for less experienced students) OR 🔹 Comprehensive mock interviews simulating real exam conditions, followed by detailed feedback & scoring (recommended for more experienced students) Note that tutoring for medical interview preparation is more personalised and hence will be limited to one on one only.
