My name is Hari, and I am currently studying a double degree in Mathematical Sciences and PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at The Australian National University. I am from Sydney, though I now live on campus so tutoring services are online. I graduated from Sydney Secondary College Blackwattle Bay Campus in 2024, with top 15 internal ranks in every subject, as a member of the biggest year 12 cohort in 2024. In particular, I achieved rank 1 in economics and rank 2 in English Extension 1. My HSC Marks were: Economics - 90/100 English Extension 1 - 47/50 English Advanced - 89/100 Music 1 - 89/100 Modern History (Accelerated) - 86/100 Mathematics Extension 1 - 85/100 Mathematics Extension 2 - 83/100 I am very passionate about helping students learn the most efficient ways to study, and showing them how to use resources in better ways. Having had experience both at a public school and a private school (Sydney Grammar), I feel capable understanding the varying pressures of the two environments, and how students can best adapt to both. My approach is very much centred around building confidence in the work my students do and helping them to enjoy studying. I find this is the best way to raise marks. My approach is very much reliant on what the students want - if you want something very structured and rigid, with coursework and set tasks or if you want something more relaxed, where I am just an aid to keep you on the right track.
