I’m Crystal, a graduate from Meriden School who came 1st in Maths and 3rd in Physics in exams. Despite this, I am too familiar with that awful feeling of hitting rock bottom in academics. If you asked about the worst week of my school life, I would recall back to the last week of Year 12 Term 1. Struck by not one, but two devastations that Tuesday when we got both our Maths Extension 1 and 2 assessment results, I completely lost confidence in the subject I had been most sure about. Below average. Both exams. Even worse, these were the first exams that counted towards the HSC. That week, every time I so much as remembered what had happened, tears would spring uncontrollably to my eyes. A tidal wave was sinking me deep into the bottom of the ocean, and none of my friends could console me or pull me out of my wrecked state. All I could think was that I wasn’t smart enough. Perhaps I would never be good enough. But, in the same way waves recede and wash out sediments, the worst moments can make way for the best ones. In the next assessment, I learnt from my mistakes and came back with a full 100%. Once again, I could proudly call maths my best subject. This is a sign to not give up. 📌 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 Some of the previous students that have studied using our system, with other tutors I'm working with at Tutorgum: 🔹 K​e​l​l​y​ ​L​i​n, St George Girls, 95 in Chem 🔹 S​a​t​h​m​i​ ​R​a​n​a​s​i​n​g​h​e, James Ruse 2021, moved got 97 in Physics with 99.75 ATAR. 🔹 K​i​r​s​t​e​n​ ​C​h​u, Meriden 2021, moved from a 56% in Chem Trials to 91 in HSC. 🔹 J​a​d​e​ ​Y​a​n​g, Meriden 2021, moved from 49% in Year 11 Exams to 91 in HSC Chemistry. 🔹 M​u​s​t​a​f​a​ ​K​h​a​n, 2023, got 99.95 and 1st in Chemistry. 🔹 M​i​ո​h​a​ ​L​ее, James Ruse 2022, got 99.90 ATAR and 9th in Physics Examination. 🔹 A​i​d​е​ո ​N​а​j​i, Girraween 2024, was Chemistry State Rank, 99 in Chemistry. 📌 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ 🔹 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲 is how I teach. It focuses on the intuition - helping you "get it" rather than just hearing it. If you're not sure where to apply the formula, or making silly mistakes, you're likely not doing enough hard practice questions. We have the the most challenging questions! It helped Eric Vuong, James Ruse, more confident and accurate in exams, improving from 64% to 97% in HSC. 📌 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 & 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 I offer group private tutoring (around 5-10).
