| 99.70 ATAR | 95 Math Ext. 2 | 95 English Advanced | Hi! I'm Mac and I am studying at ANU in a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) - Science / Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I graduated from Scots in 2024 where I really enjoyed a focus on study-life balance and being able to achieve the marks I wanted without losing my social presence. I am highly motivated to see my students achieve the best results they can and will work with you to ensure that you can be proud of your HSC year. I think the most important element to success is the right resources for the job. As such, I have saved almost all of my resources from the HSC and as your tutor I will give you access to anything you may need for your own preparation. ATAR: 99.70 (All Rounder) - English Advanced: 95 - Mathematics Extension 2: 95 - Mathematics Extension 1: 94 (2023 Accelerated) - Mathematics Advanced: 98 (2023 Accelerated) - Modern History: 94 - Physics: 94 - Chemistry: 93 I can tutor any of the above subjects up to a year 12 level. My tutoring approach is very similar to how I studied; that is a strong focus on foundational skills followed swiftly by application in unknown contexts. As a result I encourage all of my students to send me ahead of time their focus for the session so I can prepare a plan and make the most of the hour. However, if you would like some general revision and help I can certainly accomodate that as well. I will be available for tutoring online at all times or, alternatively, I will be in Canberra during the term and Sydney for the holidays when I can be in person.
