💫 99.40 ATAR | Normo Boys 2023 Graduate 💫 Hello! I’m Ryan and I’m a Psychology (Hons) student at the University of Sydney. I graduated from Normanhurst Boys High School in 2023, consistently ranking in the top 2 of my English courses and the top 10 of my other subjects. In the HSC I scored a 94 or higher in all of my English and Maths subjects, and my English Extension 2 major work was featured in the 2023 Young Writers Showcase, which included just 20 entries out of a state-wide cohort of 750. I also completed the UCAT in 2023 with a score of 3360, placing me in the 99th percentile, and I received an offer to study medicine at the University of Newcastle, but decided not to pursue it. With almost three years of experience teaching English and Maths to high-school students, I have learnt that every student learns differently and I tailor my teaching approach to best suit their individual personalities. Drawing on my expertise gained from my psychology degree, I focus on building confidence with my students in their writing, comprehension, and arithmetic skills, as once they gain the confidence to push themselves outside of their comfort zones, their academic ability in these fields naturally blossoms. PRICING: One on one: $60/hr Small groups (2-5 students): $50/hr per person In addition to regular lessons, I can also provide ongoing feedback on homework and school assignments, as well as additional learning resources to hone individual skills.
