Hello! My name is Benedict Widjaja. I graduated in 2023 from Perth Modern School with an ATAR of 99.65. Since then, my academics have taken me to the University of Melbourne (with The Melbourne National Merit Scholarship), where I get to study a whole range of interesting subjects - from mathematics and statistics, to computer science and economics. I completed the following ATAR subjects: - Economics - Italian: Second Language - Literature - Mathematics Methods - Mathematics Specialist - Physics During high school, I was able to pursue all my hobbies - learning the piano, doing art and calligraphy, and teaching myself German, all whilst consistently achieving high marks in all my subjects. I was able to do this, because: 1) I was genuinely interested in the subjects I studied, and, 2) I invested the time into understanding the nuances of each and every subject, what assessors are looking for, and how to actually study. This is what I'd love to share with all you! A strong understanding of the course content, combined with a practical knowledge for how to do well in assessments. In order to ensure that our time together is well-spent, I'll tailor our lessons relevant to your goals and needs. We'll work on practice problems and past exams (especially for ATAR courses). For this, I have an extensive bank of notes & past exams that I myself used. Additionally, I can be your mentor, offering guidance on balancing academics and extracurriculars, navigating university and scholarship applications, and making informed subject selections—as I have recently gone through these myself.
