I was Shalini’s senior English teacher from 2023-4, during such time, she matured into an incredibly confident, enthusiastic, and academically minded student, peer, and mentor. She’s a highly accomplished student, scoring the highest ATAR in her cohort (universally nominated for valedictorian). With two years of experience watching her coach those around her, I have the utmost confidence in her skillset. Shalini has often led others through concepts that I’ve taught in class, naturally stepping into a leadership position to help develop new ideas and theories with others. She’s shared her insights on the journeys of her peers, offering to lend her skillset to better assist in smaller forums than I can provide. This mindset and attitude towards teaching and learning is commendable and necessary for a tutor—there is no doubt that Shalini deftly showcases these qualities. An absolute joy to teach, and I can say from personal experience as both a teacher and learner, a genuine joy to learn from.
