Hey there!
I’m Janet, a UNSW Med Student with a passion for teaching. Graduating high school as a School Prefect and Science Captain with a 99.75 ATAR and State Rank in Latin Extension (4th in State).
I specialise in tutoring Year 11-12 students Latin (Continuers and Extension), Mathematics (Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2), English (Advanced and Extension) as well as the UCAT.

Since I was young, I was always fascinated in the power of connection in learning. By focusing on understanding core concepts, breaking them down and seeing how they related to each other, I was able to study more efficiently and prioritise key insights. After graduating, I shared this philosophy with my students, emphasising the importance of making connections with their subjects on a deeper level and truly enjoying the process of learning.

Janet is an absolute treasure. She is a great communicator and very diligent. My son’s Latin marks have gone from 80% to 94% in his last exam. Janet is patient, kind and is very knowledgeable and across the subject. My son is amazed by her skill and fluency. She is very thorough when going through material, she has very detailed resources and always highly prepared for a session. I highly recommend her, she is brilliant.

Janet is an amazing tutor, she's super dedicated and patient. She tailors her content to whatever you need help with so you can really target your weak points and she checks in on your progress to make sure you're on track. She's also a really nice person so you never feel judged when you make a mistake or don't know how to answer a question which makes the class environment very comfortable to be in. I highly recommend her as a tutor!
