Starting off the school term, I was struggling with the physics syllabus. School had let me down because of the pace and lack of in-depth explanation on certain challenging concepts and more niche dot points. Luckily, Matthew helped me break down these complex concepts and made it so much easier to understand. Matthew's enthusiasm to teach and willingness to help outside of class times really worked to build my confidence as a student, my interests in science and shape the way I approach my studies. Matthew and I went to the same school and studied for the HSC in the same year. Throughout the terms we would often study together and Matthew would help me with certain challenging subjects that I would struggle with. In those study sessions, Matthew used various teaching techniques to break down complex concepts into bite-size pieces of information that were easy to understand and more importantly remember.

During Year 12 Matthew would often take time to help me with X2 Mathematics and Physics, 2 of the subjects I struggled most with. He would often stay back during lunch breaks to explain difficult concepts and guide me through problems. I can personally attest not only to his strong academic ability and skill as a tutor, but also to his patience and genuine character. I highly recommend Matthew as both a tutor and a mentor.
