Hi, I'm Yvonne, known to most as Yvie, and I'm the founder of InstructEd. I hold a Master of Teaching and have over a decade of experience as an English, Humanities and VCE History teacher. I have also worked as a textbook and resource writer for Edrolo and delivered professional development for fellow History teachers through the History Teachers' Association of Victoria. You could say I have a passion for education. I believe it is one of the most powerful things we have for changing and improving our world. For years I witnessed the outstanding work of school educators, but also the pressure, large class sizes and underfunding our schools face. That is where InstructEd comes in. I wanted to create a space where private tutoring is done properly, to complement and strengthen school learning rather than simply repeat it. InstructEd is built on personalised, effective teaching that helps students excel both inside the classroom and beyond.
