Civil Engineering & Business Student UON (ATAR: 95.35) (High School Dux) Band 6’s in Mathematics Advanced and Engineering Studies. Hi, I’m Jacob, a 2025 graduate of St Paul’s Catholic College with an ATAR of 95.35. Throughout high school, I worked consistently and strategically to achieve my goal of studying engineering. This experience showed me that genuine academic success is built on a strong, in-depth understanding of concepts. I tutored students throughout Year 12 while balancing my own studies, which strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. My academic efforts were recognised through being awarded the 2026 Port Waratah Coal Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship. Through studying Advanced and Extension 1 Maths in Years 11 and 12, I developed a strong understanding of key mathematical principles, achieving a Band 6 in Maths Advanced. I also have a strong understanding of mechanics in engineering and physics, achieving 94/100 (Band 6) in Engineering Studies, enabling me to confidently support both theoretical understanding and application-based problem solving. As a tutor, I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, helping them build confidence, clarity, and strong problem-solving skills. I am flexible and reliable, and happy to reschedule or offer additional sessions when needed, particularly around assessments and exams. To further assist my students, I provide detailed and well-organised notes, along with a wide range of practice papers and targeted exam-style questions, ensuring students are well prepared and confident heading into assessments and exams.
