My name's Liz and I'd love to be your new tutor on the Bellarine Peninsula! I've been teaching since 2017, and have taught maths from Year 7 up to Unit 1&2 Methods. I'm patient, flexible and kind, and have experience working with students of all abilities and from all backgrounds. I strive to find strategies and activities that work for the student in front of me, and am always ready to change up my approach to achieve the best possible outcomes. I'm open to tutoring individuals or groups. I prefer to tutor in my home or in a public library due to allergies. If that doesn't work for you but you think I'd be a good fit otherwise, message me anyway and we might be able to work something out. I can tutor in several different ways: - Extending high achievers to prepare for future years or acceleration - Reviewing content taught in class and making sure homework is completed - Catching up from absences - Pre-teaching content to alleviate maths anxiety in the classroom - Supporting students who don't like or don't 'get' maths (yet!) - Supporting students with autism, ADHD or other neurological differences who don't always thrive in a noisy classroom
