💫💫 BAND 6S IN E1, E2 MATHS WHILE IN YEAR 9 💫💫 Hey! My name is Oliver and I am a second-year student at the University of New South Wales studying a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours). Maths has always come naturally to me and I have performed exceptionally well in it. I completed my HSC in maths accelerated whilst in Year 9 and achieved Band 6s in both Extension 1 (96) and Extension 2 (92). My eventual ATAR was 97.75 and also achieved Band 6s in Chemistry and Music 1, as well as an 89 in Modern History and an 88 in Advanced English. Throughout Year 12 I tutored several students (Year 9, Year 10, Year 11) in maths so I have prior experience and have been consistently exposed to the maths syllabus. I was tutored myself in maths while undertaking the HSC so I know the importance of pushing a student to improve in a supportive and structured environment. I believe that maths is a subject in which anyone can excel in; it just requires some diligence and commitment. I know the power of past papers and thankfully maths is more straightforward to study for than many other school subjects! I have lived in Australia my whole life and have always been apt at English and writing, so my communication skills will meet your expectations and I hope to forge meaningful connections with all my of students.
