In 2025, I achieved First Class Honours in Latin within a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney. My 25,000 word thesis, titled 'Reading "Pace" in Lucan's De Bello Civili and Silius Italicus' Punica', was supervised by Professor Paul Roche. It investigated the changing portrayal of characters' speed across these two historical epic poems, and how this interacts with themes like morality, power, and narratology. Key figures in these texts include Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great, Hannibal, and Scipio Africanus. Both texts interact closely with Virgil's Aeneid. At the moment, I am studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney. Other interests at university include Ancient Greek and Ancient History. My primary tutoring focus is Latin, but I can also help with English and Ancient History. Not only do I tutor Latin for the HSC and IB, but I also teach Latin from scratch to students wishing to learn out of a love for language or for their future prospects. I have worked as a Tennis Coach and Academic Mentor at Barker College since 2022, ran a primary school Latin club at Normanhurst Public School in 2023-24, and teach Latin to refugee students at Marri Mittigar. I also have legal experience.
