Hi, I'm Liah!
I graduated in 2023 from Haileybury Girls College, as the Dux of Visual Communication Design, achieved the VCE Honour Roll Call by scoring raw mark of 43. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) at RMIT. I also have completed a year in the Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) at RMIT and was nominated to represent first year Digital Media students on the Student Staff Consultative Committee (SSCC).
I have strong background in this subject, and I enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals and am dedicated to providing personalised tutoring sessions.
⭐ Awarded the Hugh McLean Memorial Prize and Dux for Visual Communication Design in 2023.
⭐ Awarded honours for Visual Communication Design Units 1 and 2 in 2022.
⭐ My portfolio was frequently showcased within the Haileybury creative community which included Top Class 2023 and at Haileybury's Annual Art Exhibition.

VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN:
✔️ Will consult and guide in constructing and giving advice for a solid folio (I scored 100% on my VCD Folio and SACs/SATs). Eg. Consolidating brief, development of concepts etc.
✔️ Will consult and guide in technical drawing. Eg. 1-2 point perspective, isometric etc…
✔️ Will consult and guide in rendering techniques such as form. light, texture etc..
✔️ How to structure answers for exam questions, and ensuring proper use of design language. Will mark responses against rubric used in SACs / SATs.
✔️ Rehearsing various theory such as design elements and principles, purpose, context etc…
✔️ Give guidance on all three fields of design (Communication, Industrial, Environmental).
✔️ I am highly proficient in traditional drawing across different mediums, and across Adobe Suite applications such as Illustrator.
HERE IS MY PRICE RANGE:
5 lesson packages at $350 ($70 per hour).
Casual lessons billed at $80 per hour
Payment via bank transfer with invoice provided to be completed prior lesson.
Progress summary to be shared at the end of each lesson package.
