Hey! I’m Leilani and I graduated from Bethany College in 2023 with an ATAR of 97.55. I am currently studying a double degree Biomedical Engineering (honours) and Medical Science at Sydney Uni. I'm enthusiastic and passionate about helping students in their schooling journey, to become the best versions of themselves. Through catered learning styles I will aim to prepare students for exams, fill in gaps in any learning as well as build self-confidence. As a tutor, I personally understand the overwhelming stresses and disengagement that a high school student can encounter. I therefore aim to build a relationship with the student that will make them feel comfortable, encouraged and confident in their abilities, building a positive and open environment. Whilst I will ensure students are prepared for their next exam I will also provide strategies that will boost long-term improvement! Within lessons, I will begin by addressing strengths and weaknesses in order to foster the most efficient improvement. I will then go over any holes in knowledge catering towards individual needs and learning styles. I will consistently go through exam type questions as well as crucial organization skills, preparation strategies, alternative learning techniques and external study/research resources. I am available 24/7 for online queries, assistance or personal support. I'd be honored to take on this journey with you!
