I am an IT professional with 40+ years experience. I have worked on systems of all types from the smallest embedded/IoT (e.g. Arduino) to the largest corporate systems.
I have experience in many aspects of computing including programming, networking, web, database and many others.
The most rewarding activities during my career was mentoring up and coming professionals. I always received good feedback from all my mentees and often had requests from others to work with me.
Now that I have more free time, I am keen to continue sharing my experience with the next generation of up and coming stars. Links are not permitted here, but if you contact me, I can point you to examples of tutorials, projects and videos that I have published for your review and evaluation (or you can replicate them yourself).
My formal education is a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Computing from the Western Australian Institute of Technology.

I have known Glenn for many years and have always found him to be very patient when explaining anything to me. When he showed me how to use my first computer, he explained everything very clearly, in everyday language, and he was happy to re-explain whenever I forgot something. In addition, he has an interesting sense of humour which also helped to make the experience fun.
With his extensive experience in the IT world, not only from his working career but also from his personal self-development, I believe he would make an excellent tutor for people at all levels, from students studying for exams through to adults wanting to improve their understanding of, and ability to use, higher levels of IT processes and applications in their work or for personal usage.

I highly recommend Glenn as an IT tutor, mainly because of his depth of knowledge and experience in the field, but also because of his personality which is suited to teaching. He is a very calm person, has an impish sense of humour, and can explain complex things in simple ways that most people can easily understand.

Travel policy
I am happy to travel up to 15km (as measured by road) for no charge. Beyond that 50% of my hourly rate.
