Hi, my name is Rin, and I am currently studying computer science at UNSW with a current WAM of 94.3. I graduated from high school in 2023, achieving an ATAR of 99.75, along with a Certificate of Distinction. My final scaled WACE scores in subjects I tutor are as follows: - Mathematics Specialist (Ext. Equivalent): 91.8 - Mathematics Methods (Adv. Equivalent): 90.1 - Japanese: Second Language (Cont. Equivalent): 87.3 - Physics: 82.8 Note that WACE marks are generally equivalent to higher marks in HSC, with a WACE mark of 77+ being equivalent to HSC Band 6 (90+). I am a firm believer that there isn't any sort of innate ability gatekeeping good marks, and that with motivation, practice, and hard work, anyone can achieve the marks they want. My job is to assist students in reaching their goals, and thus tailor my services to suit the individual. This flexible teaching style is what I believe differentiates myself from the others, and I always strive to get students interested in their subjects, as I understand motivation is often a large hurdle for many. Having recently graduated, I have access to a large amount of learning resources for the subjects I tutor, and students can be assured there will be no end to the content if they so desire (although I would recommend a more moderated approach). I have a car and am available to tutor anywhere in Sydney, so don't worry about location.
