Hi, I'm Gemma!
I am a patient, enthusiastic and supportive tutor with a passion for learning and tutoring. By tailoring lessons to each student, I am able to create a personalised and collaborative learning environment. I encourage my students to always ask questions and communicate their ideas and thoughts to me, thereby fostering an open and positive dialogue. My aim as a tutor is to help my students set and achieve their academic goals as well as develop an interest in the content they are learning or that we are engaging in.
I graduated university in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Philosophy, from Macquarie University. I graduated high school in 2022 from St Joseph's Catholic College, East Gosford with an ATAR of 94.10. I achieved a Band 6 in English Advanced (90/100), Biology (90/100), Modern History (90/100), Visual Arts (91/100) and Studies of Religion I (45/50). In addition to this, I was College (School) Captain.
I am able to help students with assignments, class content, exam preparation, essay writing skills and study techniques. I am also happy to help with preparation for leadership roles. I also have a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
