About
Hello Students,
I'm excited to introduce myself as your potential tutor. Here's a little bit about me:
Current Studies
I am currently pursuing a double degree in Software Engineering and Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney. This diverse academic background has allowed me to deepen my understanding and expertise in various subjects, particularly in Portuguese, Math, Computer Science, and coding-related assignments.
Best Subjects & Marks
During my academic journey, I excelled in several subjects. I took the IB Diploma and achieved top marks in Portuguese, Biology and Computer Science.
Teaching Style
I am passionate about teaching and my teaching method focuses on genuine understanding rather than rote memorization. I emphasize the scientific method, following the methodology described in the book "Made in Macaíba" by Miguel Nicolelis. My approach is interactive and student-centered, adapting to each student's unique learning pace. Whether through practical exercises, real-life examples, or step-by-step explanations, my goal is to make learning engaging and effective.
How I Can Help as a Tutor
As a Brazilian with a solid educational background, I can offer tutoring in:
Portuguese: Helping with language skills, grammar, and literature.
Math: Covering topics from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus.
Computer Science: Explaining concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Coding Assignments: Assisting with any coding projects or assignments, regardless of the programming language.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities. Let's work together to unlock your potential!
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you're ready to start learning!
Best regards,
Luis Chibata.
