Hey! My name is Raff and I'm a final year student studying Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science at Monash University. I offer personally tailored tutoring to students ranging from Year 10 - Year 12. My services are tailored to the current curriculum and I offer additional content outside of just textbook examples including: - Full sets of custom-made notes 📖 - Practice exam-style questions📝 - Comprehensive content tests for each topic 🧠 - Complete practice exams for end of year preparation 📚 - Assessing students' answers in accordance to VCE Guidelines (as well as thorough solutions to each problem). ✅ - For programming units I have made full problem sets with built-in marking in the same teaching style taught at the university level.💻 I specialise in: - Mathematical Methods (Units 1-4) - Specialist Mathematics (Units 1-4) - Physics (Units 1-4) - Algorithmics I also tutor: - Computing: Software Development (Units 3-4) - Chemistry (Units 1-4) - Year 10 Mathematics - Year 10 Science I'm super passionate about teaching and love the sense of accomplishment from learning. I excel in teaching in a multitude of styles and am flexible enough to adapt to whoever I am tutoring. I employ each of the different styles of teaching depending on the student and content at hand. Being a fifth year Mechatronics Engineering/Computer Science student I am very proficient in mathematics and physics as well as programming. I have experience tutoring first and second year university programming and maths units as I excelled in these areas. I have great ability breaking down complex concepts into visual/physical demonstrations to build understanding from the ground up. I am available in-person and can travel to you (long travel distances may incur additional costs and can be negotiated). I am also available for online tutoring where I teach with a whiteboard over zoom and send notes, practice questions and practice tests via email. The way I run my lessons is made personal to each student I tutor however the general guideline is as follows: - Aids student/s in completing notes and homework provided by school. - Address any 'muddy points' in understanding with the help from my tailor-made notes. - Test knowledge on current topic by doing exam-style questions. - Do any additional preparation for upcoming assessments by doing timed tests under exam conditions (includes exams and topic tests constructed by me as well as practice exams from external companies and past VCE exams). I have a Working with Children's Check which can be validated upon request.
