99.65 ATAR | School Dux | HSC All Rounder | 96 Chemistry | 96 Ext 1 Maths | 94 Ext 2 Maths Hi, I'm Philip Howard, a mathematics student at the University of Sydney who graduated in 2023 with a 99.65 ATAR. I'm offering skilled online and in person tuition in mathematics, physics and chemistry. My HSC marks were: 96 in Chemistry 96 in Mathematics Extension 1 94 in Mathematics Extension 2 93 in Physics 91 in English Advanced Throughout my HSC journey, I collated hundreds of past papers, practice questions and many textbooks which I found extremely valuable in studying for my exams, and which provides immense value to my students. I also have a thorough understanding of the HSC and ATAR systems and how the complex processes of scaling and alignment work, and during my year 12 studies I developed an advanced raw mark to ATAR calculator which is used by thousands of students across the state. My approach to teaching involves analysing my student's strengths and weakness, and applying appropriate learning techniques to help them within lessons, alongside providing proven study advice which enables my students to improve the effectiveness of their study beyond my lessons. I understand that high school can be an extremely stressful, difficult experience for many students, however I hope that through my deep understanding of my HSC subjects and the ATAR system as a whole, I can ease some of the pressure and enable my students to reach their goals.
