--- ABOUT ME --- Hi, I’m Kaveh. I’m a geneticist currently completing my training in medicine and surgery at Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy, which is ranked as one of the top 50 hospitals in the world. Throughout my studies and professional work in medicine, I’ve been tutoring HSC Mathematics, Physics, and Biology for over 12 years. During that time, I’ve worked with hundreds of students at different stages of their journey. Some were aiming for Band 6 results and competitive ATARs. Others simply wanted to finally feel confident in subjects that had always felt overwhelming. Both matter equally to me. 🌟 --- WHAT I’VE LEARNED ABOUT THE HSC --- After more than a decade of teaching, I’ve realised that most students don’t struggle because they are “not good at maths” or “not a science person.” They struggle because no one has properly shown them how to think through problems, how to structure responses, or how to approach exams strategically. Once that clicks, everything changes. Many of my students have gone on to achieve Band 6 results. Just as importantly, I’ve seen students who once felt stuck and frustrated begin to perform at levels they did not think were possible. That growth is what I value most. 🎓 --- HOW I TEACH --- My focus is simple: * Build deep understanding, not memorisation * Break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps * Practise with real HSC-style questions * Teach exam technique explicitly, not implicitly I try to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and pushing themselves. Confidence and performance usually grow together. 💪 --- WORKING TOGETHER --- I currently have 2 tutoring spots available for 2026.
