Hi I'm Owen, and I've been tutoring for 3 years, both at school through peer tutoring programs and private sessions. I was Dux at St Augustine's in Cairns for 2025 with a near-perfect ATAR, with near perfect scores in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, and English. I tutor maths and science for all years, with in person solo or group tutoring.
My specialty is helping build understanding and intuition in these subjects through breaking down teachers' and textbooks' language into easier to follow, more logical bases and analogies. That's how I build my understanding, and how I geared my mind to think mathematically and with scientific intuition. I've been tutoring classmates this way for years, to the point often times my peers would come to me rather than teachers, as I explain things more casually and simply which makes it easier to understand.
