Hi! I am a 28 year old qualified English teacher from the UK. I am VIT registered and have 9 years of tutoring experience in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia tutoring and teaching English. I have worked with children and young people aged 3-21. I currently teach children with autism and also have experience outside of an academic setting training young people with additional needs in a gym setting, helping to support with physical well-being. I have mental health training and experience with young people as well as formal education experience in various school settings. My biggest strength as a teacher is being able to encourage those learners with a lack of motivation or perceived weakness in a particular area. I do this by building a rapport with whoever I am working with and by seeking to understand their individual needs and goals. Through consistency of support I pride myself on always achieving desired outcomes with my students, whatever their circumstances are. I tutor in English and humanities subjects.
