Hi 👋 I’m James and I graduated in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.85 despite coming from a regional highschool in Dubbo 😀. I am currently a 5th Year Medical Student at the University of New South Wales with a distinction average.
I have taught and mentored many students at many levels, and am offering tutoring for:
Year 7-10: maths, science, english
Year 11 (preliminary HSC): maths ext 1, maths adv, chem, phys, english adv*
Year 12 (HSC): maths ext 2, maths ext 1, maths adv, chem, phys, english adv*

- in yr11: House on Mango Street / 7 Stages of Grieving, Julius Caesar / Machiavelli's Prince, and Judith Wright's poems
- in yr12: 1984, King Richard III / Looking for Richard, TS Eliot's poems and many Mod C texts

Being a 2020 HSC graduate, I have major expertise in the new syllabus for all subjects hence can give more tailored tutoring for the new courses! I also came first in all my preliminary and HSC subjects (internally and externally), I am keen to help you achieve this.
Given the growing competition for Medicine admissions, I am also willing to help with Medical Interview training and UCAT preparation, particularly for those interested in getting into medicine via the rural entry scheme.
Having duxxed every year of highschool, I can offer highly tailored English, Maths, and Science tutoring for anyone in years 7, 8, 9, 10 if anyone is interested.

1. preparing material/content to teach during the lesson on a certain topic (didactic).
2. working through questions/queries that you have (student-directed).
I am willing to give a vast array of resources crucial to succeed highschool, including notes, question banks, and sample answers designed to secure top marks. I can adapt my teaching style and accommodate your learning needs so you get a very targeted and effective lesson every time.
I am also happy to contact you outside of class hours and answer questions about university, entering university or whatever questions you may have!
