About
Hi I'm Jamie! I completed my HSC in 2023 and am studying at the University of Sydney, for a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) majoring in Maths and French.
My best and favourite subjects in high school were French and Maths reaching marks of 90%+ and school report grades of As and Bs consistently.
In terms of my teaching style, I don’t like to overwhelm my students with a lot of information in one go but rather take my time to explain one or two topics and ensure they understand the topics before I move on. I use a variety of resources to make my lessons more engaging and entertaining such as videos, and other multimedia. I am flexible and apply my teaching style to each student and change my lesson plans if something comes up at school and my student needs more help with a different topic. I provide positive encouragement and support and try to ensure I am available for questions as much I can.
