Hello,
My name is Allan, and I am here to assist you in achieving your numerical proficiency and mathematics goals for 2024.
I hold post-graduate qualifications in applied mathematics, computer programming/modelling, and environmental sciences. I currently work as a data scientist in the APS. I previously worked as a data scientist/lecturer in Europe (at various Max Plank Institutes) and at universities in the UK. Furthermore, I worked as a maths teacher in Liverpool, England, at a public comprehensive school for GCSE+ A-level mathematics. I currently tutor maths students in Years 10-12 throughout the ACT.
As a tutor, I focus on being flexible, patient, and a careful listener, and above all, a good motivator. My tutoring has resulted in noticeable improvements over previous grades. Additionally, I have three children who have benefited from my math tutoring during their high school years, which has kept me up-to-date with current curricula.
I have Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration in the ACT, so you can trust that your children are in safe and capable hands.
