About

I am currently studying for an undergraduate BioMed degree at ECU with plans to major in Medical Sciences. Currently, I have high distinction (80% or higher) in all of my units but we are only in the first term currently. Highschool Grades -Health Studies =94% (Highest in my school of 2021) -Maths Methods =90% -Chemistry =87% -Human Biology =92% Overall each person is very different and as such learns very differently, due to this it is best to have a very adaptable teaching style which many schools suffer to achieve. My teaching style is much more interactive and is best described as a specialized directive approach for each individual. Some students notice significant benefits from mild guidance or re-wording of school material/questions. Others achieve better results from having healthier studying patterns and mindsets which differ between individuals. Some do better by not using the provided school material and instead using non-school material which still produces the same results, for example, math formulas, chemistry and a majority of social sciences (Humanities) can fit into this category. I also have a lot of experience with ''unconventional'' students, I myself, have fairly severe anxiety which especially throughout high school ruined my focus and caused procrastination, overall contributing to mental distress. My little Sister has Band 2 Autism and mild intellectual disability (IQ<70) and I often help her with her school work, especially maths and English/humanities to help her pass. Due to this, I've gotten fairly competent at tutoring those who are neurodivergent and/or have a mental illness condition. My overall goal is for students to not only perform their best on tests but also to be able to use this knowledge in non-academic situations to improve their quality of life, while also retaining the information long-term to prevent excessive re-learning.
