My name is Caitlyn, and I would be honoured to help you excel in your endeavours with English and Legal studies. I graduated from Meriden School, placing top 3 in all my units studied. With respect to my sessions, I offer tutoring in English (Years 1-12), English Advanced, English Extension 1, English Extension 2 and Legal Studies. Moreover, I offer an accelerated learning program through practice paper analysis for the arduous Law Admissions Test (LAT). With only a 10% acceptance rate amongst thousands of applicants sitting the LAT, I offer a niche service in preparing students to transition into university law.
I tailor lessons according to each student’s progress and developmental requirements, strengthening their basic foundations and extending this to in depth analysis of difficult texts, with the end-goal of producing high quality English literature. I am currently in possession of a multitude of BAND 6 exemplar essays, annotated prescribed texts and other resources provided by HSC markers and Directors of English departments to ensure that each student is equipped with the necessary knowledge needed to achieve excellence in their studies. I focus on the neglected, yet dually important details and exam techniques often overlooked by students to ensure that they obtain a competitive advantage and stand out in their cohort. Further, my students will gain an upper hand on others from the extensive knowledge I have gained from the prestigious Archdale debating competitions and intervarsity mooting competitions (legal debating), particularly as public speaking is now a significant aspect of HSC English.
I will always strive to achieve the best marks possible for my students and pave the way for them to obtain greater self-confidence and skill in their English endeavours. My lessons will be tutored over Zoom to allow greater flexibility. I also offer in-person lessons in Cabarita, Sydney.

Education
Across 2020 - 2024, I have had extensive experience in coaching students, athletes and musicians for inter-state level English competitions to year 11 preliminary assignments and HSC exams. I am proud to announce that over 90% of my previous students have achieved an exemplary BAND 6 in their HSC results! ❗❗
Therefore, I am confident in supporting all types of individuals and will tailor my lessons according to the niche difficulties that each student may face given the rigorous and demanding nature of high school English. In particular, I am well versed with the new HSC English syllabus, thereby allowing me to offer knowledge and English material from top 20 ranking schools across Sydney. By extension, I am flexible when giving in-depth feedback on extra essays/imaginative and discursive as necessary to ensure that each student is consistently revamping and polishing their work until key benchmarks are met. Most importantly, I always strive to make the lessons engaging and enjoyable for my students, as their happiness and motivation to learn is my priority.
