About

- 20+ years teaching English and Literature Years 7-12 - VCE and IB English and Literature I offer ONLINE-only tutoring to help students reach their potential and improve their understanding as well as their scores; I take time to build a good relationship with students so that tutoring is enjoyable, effective and builds confidence. VCE English and Literature and IB English Literature are my main areas of experience, having taught these subjects for many years. I am an IB Assistant Examiner; I taught TOK and CAS in Victoria and the UK, where I was Deputy Head of IB at my school. I've taught at Geelong Grammar School, Sacred Heart College Geelong and now teach at St Andrew's Anglican College, Sunshine Coast. I offer flexible ONLINE-only tutoring to fit around your needs and my family, work and Masters study. I have also been through the VCE journey as a parent: I get it! Contact me and let's chat about how I can help you, wherever you are. I offer a complimentary 30 minute 'Meet & Greet' Zoom session, incorporating discussion of work, texts, progress to date and a strategy for moving forward. Parents are welcome to attend. This short session gives all of us an opportunity to see whether we'll be a good fit - with no pressure!

She utilises a variety of resources to support her students’ learning, collaborating on mind-maps and other online tools so that her students can demonstrate close understanding of their required concepts and skills. In her professional capacity, Caroline consistently avails herself of upskilling opportunities, participating in professional learning to ensure her pedagogy is informed and precise.
