Hi! I'm Lucy, a 2023 Blackwattle Bay graduate. I achieved a 98.55 atar and am a HSC All Rounder for achieving band 6 in all 11 units (Maths Advanced, Maths Extension, English Advanced, Chemistry, Modern History, and PDHPE). I have thorough experience in tutoring all these subjects since my graduation, especially English, for which I have tutored 15+ students. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Pre-Medicine) at UTS, and I have been undertaking the GAMSAT exam to commence postgraduate medicine for 2027! I provide in-depth tutoring sessions, developing structured lesson plans or leading by the student, depending on what each specific student needs. I offer advice on what markers want, how to strategically approach questions to hit all the marks, and how to devote your time efficiently (through note-taking, subject preparation, and understanding the tasks required) so that you avoid burnout but see improved results. As a recent graduate, I understand the syllabus thoroughly and can teach students how to understand seemingly complex questions to get the marks. I see it as very important that a session is enjoyable and comfortable, so that communication and feedback go both ways.
