I’m currently studying Cybersecurity at UNSW and have over 3 years of tutoring experience helping students across English, humanities, psychology, and essay-based subjects. I graduated from Narrabundah College with a 96 ATAR and was in the top 1% for English and Psychology, which gave me a strong understanding of what high-level academic writing and analysis actually looks like in practice. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of ages and abilities, helping them improve not just their marks, but also their confidence, structure, and way of thinking. I specialise in making difficult concepts feel approachable and breaking down complex tasks into simple, manageable steps that students can actually apply independently. My teaching style is very personalised and encouraging. I genuinely enjoy helping students realise they are capable of far more than they think, especially when it comes to writing and critical thinking. I focus heavily on helping students build strong foundational skills rather than memorising formulas, because confidence in learning comes from understanding how and why something works. In a time where AI is making it easier for students to avoid practising writing and independent thinking, I think it’s more important than ever to help students develop a genuine love of learning and the ability to communicate their own ideas clearly. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve strong academic results, but also to help them become more curious, capable, and confident learners long-term.
