About

*Currently accepting Year 1-12 Students for 2024* | BSc | DipML (Japan) | 98.80 ATAR | Raw 46 Psychology | UoM | Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am currently in my second year, pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a Concurrent Diploma in Languages (Japanese) at the University of Melbourne. I graduated from Year 12 in 2022 with an ATAR of 98.80, and I achieved raw scores of 44 in Korean Second Language, 46 in Psychology, 45 in English, 40 in Biology, 39 in Chemistry and 35 in Methods. | Tutoring Experience | I have been tutoring for over 5 years with experience in private tutoring, group tutoring (with groups of 10+ students) and company tutoring (Scholarly Tutoring and Skyline Hatch). I have also lead and presented a 6 hour online exam revision webinar for Year 12 Psychology (2023) and have experience in tutoring primary school and VCE students with ADHD and autism. I currently hold a valid WWC Check. Through tutoring, I not only aim to offer academic support, but I hope to offer emotional support throughout the stresses of school and VCE as well. I am very friendly and I try my best to make tutoring fun whilst offering valuable studying tips and resources :) As a tutor, I promise to create a fun and comfortable environment for us to work together and I will willingly share any resources (essays, notes, etc.) that will help you in your studies. For each student, I create a personalised plan for success and a google drive where I upload lesson notes, summaries and zoom recordings after each tutoring session for the students to review. I have also worked extensively on improving my studying techniques and scheduling, so I am more than happy to share study, mindset and scheduling tips. | Psychology Tutoring | In 2023, a new Psychology study design was implemented with various changes and new content. Many tutors who completed VCE Units 3/4 Psychology prior to this new study design are unfamiliar with the updated content. However, having tutored 5 Year 12 Psychology students in the new study design content last year, as well having the experience of extensively working with the new content to prepare and present a 6 hour webinar of the entire Units 3/4 Psychology curriculum with Skyline Hatch in 2023, I am more than familiar with the new content. Even though I scored highly in my other VCE subjects, I also only offer Units 3/4 Psychology tutoring as VCE Psychology is a subject I am very passionate about. I have also dedicated countless hours to refining and mastering my delivery of this content in a fun and engaging way so that students get true value out of our tutoring sessions. | Tutoring Rates | I am offering tutoring online through Zoom and the subjects I am currently offering are: VCE Units 1-4 Psychology VCE Units 1-4 Biology Year 1-10 Maths Year 1-10 English Year 1-10 Science Korean Beginner Tutoring FIRST SESSION IS 50% OFF If you live close to Melbourne CBD, I am happy to make arrangements to do in-person tutoring as well at a rate of $65/hr. Either you can come to my place or we can organise a place to meet :) You are always welcome to bring along your own lists of questions, essays for me to look through or even fun stories you have from the week as I'm always keen and happy to listen. I am also readibly available and quick to respond outside of tutoring hours via phone or email :) Good luck on your studies and feel free to shoot me an email/message. I am so excited to start working with you!

Reviews

Hannah is an excellent tutor providing academic and emotional support to her students. Hannah was able to break down complex concepts into easily digestible chunks, fostering a deeper understanding of VCE Psychology topics for my daughter. Beyond her exceptional teaching skills, Hannah's patience, kindness, and genuine care for my daughter’s studies helped her overcome personal hurdles and stay focused on her VCE. As a result, Hannah's knowledge and compassion helped my daughter learn, improve her academic performance, and maintain her mental health throughout her VCE.
