Specialised Psychology Tutoring:
In 2023, the VCE Psychology study design underwent significant changes, introducing new content that left many tutors who had previously taught Units 3/4 unfamiliar with the updates. However, after tutoring the new curriculum for over two years and presenting a comprehensive 6-hour webinar on the entire Units 3/4 syllabus with Skyline Hatch, I have developed an in-depth understanding of the material. Recently, I completed the development of an extensive course, in collaboration with an experienced VCE Psychology teacher, which covers the entire year’s content. This included the creation of detailed slides and modules targeting student weaknesses with exam-specific tips, and delivery of the material in an engaging way to maximize student outcomes. This was published quite recently in February of 2025. My passion for Psychology as a subject drives me to continually refine and perfect my understanding of the content and my delivery, ensuring students receive the highest value from my sessions. Additionally, I have completed two Psychology units at the University of Melbourne, achieving High Distinction (H1) in both.
What I offer:
Through tutoring, my goal extends beyond simply providing academic support—I aim to offer emotional support throughout the stresses of school and the challenges of VCE. I've also had the privilege of working with neurodivergent students and tutoring programs for disadvantaged and struggling students. As a tutor, I am very friendly and I promise to create a comfortable, fun environment, where I strive to make every tutoring session enjoyable and productive. Having honed my own study techniques and time management skills, I am always eager to share effective strategies for success—whether it's for study, mindset, or scheduling—to help students stay organized and confident in their academic journey.
📝 I design personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and provide a dedicated Google Drive where I upload lesson notes, summaries, exam questions, study materials, and SAC/exam tips after each session. This allows students to review and work on content throughout the week.
📝 Having worked at multiple companies and developed a range of content and resources, I have an extensive collection of SACs, self-created materials, and presentation slides that I will share with my students.
📝 During tutoring, I use creative and effective methods to make the content clear and engaging. I incorporate techniques like mind-mapping and visual learning to support students with different learning styles, ensuring that everyone can grasp the material in a way that works best for them!
📝 You’re always welcome to bring any questions—whether it’s about the content, exam questions, 10-markers that need feedback, or even fun stories from your week! I’m always eager to help and listen.
📝 I’m also readily available and quick to respond outside of tutoring hours via phone or email, ensuring you get the support you need when you need it :)
Good luck on your studies and feel free to shoot me an email/message. I am so excited to start working with you!
