About
As a fully qualified Primary and Secondary teacher, I have a range of skills and knowledge to approach tutoring with a student-centred approach. With expertise in Media and Humanities, I am always utilising my creative thinking abilities to find fun, practical and adventurous learning opportunities for my students. On completion of my degree, I successfully completed the LANTITE (Literacy and Numeracy Test for Teachers), scoring in top 10% of participants. I look forward to working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
*Please note that tutoring in VCE Media will incur an additional rate of $10/hr.
*Group sessions may be arranged for siblings at an additional rate of $10/hr per additional student.
*Travel beyond 10km will incur an additional fee of $5/5km travelled. Note that for after school sessions, travel is from Newtown, VIC 3220. All other travel is from Grovedale, VIC 3216.
*Online sessions available.
*A $5 discount will be applied to sessions held in Grovedale.
Education
Completed BA in Media Studies and History with Distinction, Master of Teaching (Primary & Secondary). Teaching full time at a Catholic secondary school, focus in Humanities, History and Media. Experienced in IB MYP program, VCE and Victorian Curriculum P-10.
