Hi there!
My name is Ashley and I am currently taking a gap year after finishing the HSC in 2023 before I start studying a double degree of Law and Communications (Social and Political Sciences) at the University of Technology Sydney. I was one of the top achievers in my cohort, achieving an ATAR of 98.20 and ranking in the top students in each of my subjects.
For my HSC, I studied English Advanced, Mathematics Extension 2 (however I only offer tutoring for levels up until Extension 1), Legal Studies (for which i ranked 17th out of over 10,500 students) and Chemistry meaning I have a very good understanding of what is required across many different types of courses.
As a tutor, I aim to first understand how each student best learns and studies individually such that I can appropriately cater my sessions to the student themselves. By fostering an open dialogue with students, I hope that I can help them excel in their studies. I am also happy to provide editing/marking/feedback on practice essays and assessment tasks outside of scheduled sessions to provide you with extra assistance and to maximise the time in scheduled sessions.
I am happy to offer both one on one or group tuition both online and in person, depending on what suits you best!
Rates:
- $70/hour for one on one tutoring sessions (online or in person)
- $50/hr for editing/feedback on practice pieces/assessment tasks outside of session times
The above rates will include extensive preparation for each session to ensure they are tailored to the needs of each student individually and access to resources including exemplar responses, notes etc.
