Hey, I am James Wood! I graduated from Shenton College in 2023 and achieved an ATAR of 98.25. I studied Methods, Chemistry, Physics and Applications. I am now studying Chemistry and Physics at the University of Western Australia. I have been tutoring friends and family since year 9, and I believe this experience of tutoring, combined with my already deep knowledge of the sciences and maths, will help me continue to accelerate students who are already ahead of the curve and help students who may need a helping hand to get them to the position they need too. I will deliver information in small chunks to help the student get an understanding of the basics of the subject and build up from this point, which, in my experience, really helps the students get an understanding of the subject and helps the students be able to put what they know onto the exam papers. Whatever you want to achieve in your final years of high school, whether that is getting an ATAR above 98 or passing certain subjects, I believe my skill sets and knowledge will help you achieve these goals!
