Hi, I'm Sophie! I am currently studying Law and PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the Australian National University.
As a recent high school graduate, I understand the struggles of maintaining a desired academic score across a variety of subjects, specifically during stressful periods such as examination blocks. Especially whilst balancing other aspects of life such as co-curriculars and leadership roles. So, when tutoring I provide tailored lessons to students with an emphasis on the student's personal needs and goals. I believe that there is no such thing as a 'dumb question' and focus rather on ensuring that the student has a comprehensive understanding of their subjects.
I received an atar of 97.85, achieving band 6's in Mathematics Advanced, Geography, Design and Technology, Legal Studies and English Advanced whilst ranking 7th in the state in Design and Technology.
I aim to offer a relaxed and supportive environment to my students so that I can work alongside them to achieve their goals.
