Hi! I'm Izzy :) I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology Honours at ANU. I graduated in 2022 with a 95.30 ATAR, and am very passionate about helping students succeed in their studies! In my HSC I achieved Band 6s (Above 90/100) in English Extension 1, English Extension 2, English Advanced, Modern History and Legal Studies. Having completed my HSC in 2022, in 2023 I moved to Canberra for university and am now studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the ANU. Although I completed the NSW HSC I am very well versed in the ACT curriculum and have tutored students from the ACT over the last 12 months. I am a very patient and approachable tutor, and value quality understanding of course content. This means not rushing over tricky concepts, but spending time with students ensuring they understand all aspects of the course. This is particularly important in English and Modern History! I am more than happy to mark drafts outside of sessions as well, give you access to my past notes and help out in any other way I can. I personally like to include parents (if they would like to be included), and typically send updates over email every 2-3 lessons. This involves parents in your progress and provides the best possible support system for students both at home, and in tutoring sessions. As a psychology student I am also very well versed in the best ways to retain and learn information according to our understanding of the human brain. This means I can help you with the most effective methods of studying! I'm available for online and in person tutoring and can be very flexible to suit you.
