About
Hello! My name is Jayde and I am a third-year scholarship student studying a Bachelor of Advanced Humanities at the University of Queensland. I graduated from Stuartholme School in 2021 with an ATAR of 98.3, and achieved straight A’s from Year 7 to Year 12. In my senior years I studied French, Literature, Modern History, Study of Religion, Mathematical Methods, and Biology.
I’m passionate about French (97/100) and the humanities, and have recently returned from a six-month exchange in France. During my studies in France, I gained a newfound understanding of French language and culture. I also tutored French students in English throughout the semester, an opportunity that gave me significant insight into the two languages, their connections, differences, and language-learning as a discipline.
As a tutor I aim to encourage and guide my students in their academic endeavours so they can build confidence in their own abilities. I specialise in tutoring French, English, Literature, Modern History, and Religion, and offer proofreading and editing assistance in all subjects (Literature - 99/100).
I’m able to meet via Zoom, or in-person at the student’s school library. If your preference is tutoring at your home, please message me to discuss further. If you are interested or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
