📚 HSC PHYSICS + MATHEMATICS SPECIALIST 📚 99.15 ATAR 📚 97/100 PHYSICS 📚 Hey! I'm Arkey and I am a recent graduate of Sydney Grammar School (2023). I specialise in tutoring HSC Physics, Mathematics, and Science. I develop my students into becoming the best version of themselves in the classroom, achieving their academic potential. In my final year of school, I honed and developed my study technique, beating my predicted ATAR by virtually two whole points (from 97.3 to 99.15). This transformation started with a shift in mentality, something which I believe is essential to improving as a student. This resulted in my final ATAR of 99.15, which allowed me to study any engineering degree in the country, a freedom which was only possible due to this mentality shift. I am currently studying my dream degree of aerospace engineering and computer science at The University of Sydney, which not only requires a prerequisite of 99 ATAR, but also a deep knowledge of mathematics and physics principles. This guarantees that I stay sharp and intelligible in Mathematics, Physics and Science for my students throughout my five-year degree. Yes, these subjects are hard, but they don't always have to be. In my experience tutoring over the past year, I have learnt that every student has the capacity to improve, starting with a change in mentality when it comes to learning. Extending on this, I design personalised studying methods for all of my tutees, which both challenge and inspire them, ensuring that they soar to the top of the class. Through hand-picking HSC-style exam questions, and marking solutions 7 days a week free of charge, I equip every one of my students with the tools to forge their own success. I strive to make each session different, keeping students excited and enthused about their work. On top of my proven tutoring method, my further leadership experience in the Sydney Grammar School Cadet Corps helped me develop my skills of leading younger students, while learning how to motivate students and work together towards a common goal. Moreover, my leadership skills were recognised by the school, entrusting me as a prefect in my final year.
