|| 50 English || Hey there, I’m Roy and I’ve recently graduated from Trinity Grammar School in 2023 with an ATAR of 97.25, obtaining a perfect study score of 50 in English (57/60 on the exam, 97% SAC average), and am commencing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne in 2024. With English having to be in your top four subjects in VCE, I fully appreciate the pressure placed on each student to succeed in the subject - especially for those who find it challenging! However, I also know how this pressure can be alleviated when given the right tools to thrive in VCE English. My help includes: - Developing a formulaic essay structure - Advanced language and depth of analysis skills - Assistance with navigating the unfamiliarity of the new VCE English Study Design, with tools dedicated to assist creative writing skills - Public speaking help to assist with the oral component of English assessment (full marks on the oral) For years 11 and 12 students, I’m committed to getting the best out of them to ensure they can best respond to what VCE English demands - their fluency, analysis and understanding of language. This is so that they can best respond to any stimuli on assessment day and separate themselves from a naturally competitive cohort across the state. For years 7 to 10 students, I seek to foster an understanding of the essentials of English by unlocking a knack for standout analysis, setting them up to prosper and be successful in their later VCE studies. Every student is different and needs different things to learn best and develop a love of learning; this may include comprehensive annotations, sample papers, essay prompts, or repeated practices with swift marking and feedback on my behalf.
