I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Design Visual Communication and Bachelor of International Studies at UTS. I completed my HSC in 2023 and understand what markers are looking for in regard to English comprehension questions, analytical essays, as well as creative writing. I'm well versed in rubric requirements and can help students at all levels to achieve their best. I will provide lessons tailored to each student’s specific needs to help ace exam-style questions by analysing texts to construct high-concept theses, developing analytical essay writing skills and completing timed exercises. I also help students become better creative writers by workshopping imaginative and discursive pieces, and reflections which many students in Years 11-12 find difficult to produce in a way which optimises strong results. I am able to teach English at all levels from primary school fundamentals to Year 12 Extension 1. I achieved a rank of 16 and a mark of 94 in my English Advanced cohort of 230 and an English Extension HSC mark of 47/50. I achieved Band 6s in all seven subjects of my HSC (12 units), and was awarded All Rounder status. I also was selected by my school as a top achieving English student to be one of the few students to attend a private UTS creative writing workshop.
