I finished my high school education achieving an IB 43.5 result (selection rank ATAR 99.95), and full marks in 5 subjects, including a 7 in Higher Lever Math AA, Physics and Chemistry. In the past, I have successfully helped many of my students achieve their personal best and boosted their confidence in their academic achievement :) Right now, I am working as a tutor at Glenunga International High School as my part-time job. Here are some things you should know about me: - I am mostly available on weekends, as well as after school hours on weekdays, but do reach out to me first and book a time at least 24 hours in advance! - We can figure out a meeting place together, including university libraries and other locations you prefer, as long as it is not too far for me to commute - I am very experienced in tutoring -- I have tutored 10+ students in subjects ranging from SACE math/ EALD to IB Math/Physics/Chemistry (MYP & DP), also including specific Math competitions - For our lessons, I will prepare an outline for lesson planning, and use worksheets/ my personal notes as well as other tools to help facilitate the learning - My tutoring style is very enthusiastic/ humorous/ gentle, I support students to ask questions and not fear making mistakes; More importantly, I have faith in every kid as I have personally been through that academically struggling phase :P - I am able to offer tutoring for primary/ secondary students; The rate depends on what subject you are doing-- primary students will be charged 40/hour, while high school students may vary depending on IB/SACE you are doing - Let me know your thoughts!
