Hi! I’m Selena. I completed the International Baccalaureate diploma in 2023, achieving a mark of 44 (99.7 atar). I am now studying a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney.
I am well versed in the IB syllabus, with a passion in theatre, english, history and maths, achieving the MLC prize for Dux of the IB in 2023. My tutoring style caters to the individual needs of the student, I will prepare thoroughly and work hard to assist you to achieve the best possible result. I offer online one on one sessions where I can assist in understanding concepts, revising topics, IB internal assessments and exam skills/questions. I can also assist with/provide feedback for IB internal assessments and the extended essay.
I support my tutoring sessions with exemplar materials (essays, notes, IAs and past papers) worthy of a 99+ atar. I work with my students to address common questions and improve skills (essay structure and writing style) essential to performing well in the IB.
I also offer assistance for students in years 7-10 for english, history, drama and maths. I can also provide guidance for those seeking to start the IB program.
