⚡ 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 | 𝟵𝟵.𝟵𝟬 | 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝘅 | 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 | 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁 𝟭 | 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁 𝟮 | $𝟰𝟱/𝗵𝗿 Hello, I'm Sunny Lee! I graduated as Dux of Meriden High School in 2023 and am currently studying the Bachelor of Vision Science / Master of Clinical Optometry degree at the UNSW. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗲 The teacher gave back my exam. 79% No. No. No! I quickly flipped through the pages counting up my marks. Still 79%. Then I flipped through them again, counting them slower this time. Did I miss a page? I must’ve counted wrong. There was NO way I got a 79% in Chemistry. I had to fight back the welling tears. “Don’t worry, I’m sure you passed at least.” Passed? I knew my friends who said that had high expectations of me. The teacher had high expectations of me. My parents had high expectations of me. I had high expectations. Passing wasn’t simply enough. My vision blurred with tears the longer I stared at my double digit ranking. How could I even achieve the atar I wanted, the degree I wanted at the university I wanted, with a 79% in Chemistry? That afternoon I spent hours sobbing into my mother’s arms before I could even find a hint of courage to tell her my score. I was too scared to face the anger and disappointment that would replace the expectant look on her face. A subject I loved was soon always accompanied by a growing, gnawing sensation of fear. But that didn’t stop me. The next exam, the trials, I placed 2nd. Although overall, I only placed 4th in Chemistry, I got the highest raw HSC Chemistry score in my school. Sleep-deprived at 5am in Korea, my whole family cheered in celebration. That accomplishment was accompanied by my ATAR of 99.90, highest in my school, with overall rankings of 1st in both Mathematics Extension 1 and 2, and 2nd in Physics. And you’ll be using the exact same techniques I used to achieve that! 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 Amongst the tutors in maths and science I’m working with at Tutorgum, excellent results have been achieved: ⭐ Kirsten Chu, Meriden 2021, moved from a 56% in Chem Trials to 91 in HSC. ⭐ Sathmi Ranasinghe, James Ruse 2021, moved got 97 in Physics with 99.75 ATAR. ⭐ Rei Loh, Normanhurst Boys 2023, moved from 79% to 94% in Chemistry ⭐ Milla Zekovic, Domremy, Improved Chem from 43% to 76%, Improved Phys from 57% to 75% ⭐ Kelly Lin, St George Girls, 95 in Chem ⭐ Minha Lee, James Ruse 2022, got 99.90 ATAR and 9th in Physics Examination. ⭐ Rahul Ridling, Sydney Grammar 2024, moved from 80% to 100% in Year 12 Phys Exam, 1st in Cohort.
