Hello Parents and Students! My name is Shervin Shahbazi and am a recent graduate from North Sydney Boys High School (rank 1 in NSW), attending uni this year. I have scored band sixes in English Extension 1 and Mathematics Advanced, also receiving very high marks for Mathematics Extension 1, English Advanced, Biology and Chemistry. I have 2 years of experience in tutoring students from a primary to junior high school level (both privately - online and in person and at tutoring centers) and am confident in teaching seniors as of this year as well. Alongside my experience, I have an abundant amount of resources collated from top selective schools. I am offering one-to-one in person and online tutoring services for primary and high school level Maths, Science and English alongside OC and Selective Test preparation. Shervin was a strategic and caring tutor who strived to maximise my exam potential while being an amazing friend who supported me mentally throughout my Year 12 journey. For English Advanced, he taught me specific techniques for analysing different texts deeply which allowed me to understand all the texts I came across in the 2023 HSC as I achieved a 19/20 in the short answer section. To enhance my essay-writing skills, Shervin gave me unlimited feedback on my work and was willing to answer my questions outside of class which helped me secure my essays in the A-range and 20/20 for my TS-Eliot essay.
