🔬Head of Science & Secondary School Science Teacher 🧬 Experienced VCE Biology Teacher 🧫 Hi there! I am Tishan (Tish) and I am a qualified and secondary school teacher in my fifth year of teaching. I am the Head of Science in a secondary school and am currently teaching Junior Science, Junior Maths and VCE Biology. As of 2024, my qualifications include Bachelor of Science and a Diploma in Music from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education from Monash University. I am currently studying a Master of Education part-time at the University of Melbourne, whilst also teaching full-time. I am providing tutoring services for the following subjects: VCE Biology Unit 1 - 4 - I have been teaching VCE Biology for my entire teaching career and have years of experience teaching both Unit 1&2 and Unit 3&4. I am also an active Biology Examination Assessor for the VCAA. Year 7-10 Science - I am Head of Science and have an in-depth knowledge of the Victorian Science Curriculum. - I have taught Year 7-9 Science and am also able to teach Life Sciences at Year 10. Year 7-9 Mathematics - I have taught Year 7-9 Mathematics and have also tutored and worked with students completing Year 10 Mathematics and Unit 1&2 Mathematical Methods. My teaching style involves a mixture of engaging Google Slides presentations, worksheets and resources that I have created and collected over the past 4 years of teaching. I am highly approachable and able to answer any questions related to subjects outside of lesson times. I am happy to provide tutoring services both online (via Zoom, Google Meets etc.) or face-to-face tutoring at your home, University library or a local library.
