Hi, I'm Oscar! Based on my personal interests in both Maths, Sciences and Humanities I'm delighted to say that I am enrolling in a double degree of Psychological Science and Biomedical Engineering (DALYELL SCHOLARS) at Sydney, where I look to extend my knowledge from my HSC subjects.
A key focus aside from pure academics that I try to integrate into my tutoring style is mental sharpness - this isn't just achieved by practise, practise, practise - and I seek to guide my students through stresses that naturally come about during their academic experience, teaching resilience that is key when coming about unexpected exam questions.
High school for me unavoidably had its 'lows', but the 'highs' that made it all worth it was seeing my help bring others to success along with me. Enjoying our subjects goes hand-in-hand with success in them, and teaching my friend who learnt English as a 2nd language write sophisticated essays and achieve Band 6's (like me!) inspires me to continue tutoring - I look forwards to sharing my passion with you and facilitating your academic upturn!
